Who we are

Our History

Capstan Contractors Ltd began operating in the South West region in 1995, providing a groundworks service to a number of key clients, developers & contractors.

The company has expanded its Groundworks and Civil Engineering operations gradually over the last 27 years under the excellent leadership, direction and dedication of Andy Deverson and his vastly experienced team, enabling Capstan to continue serving the increasing number of customers requiring a Groundworks and Civil Engineering service around the Bristol and surrounding counties.

The business was acquired by Steve Mead and John Reed who continued to build on the great service Capstan has provided over many years. John Reed continues to manage the business with Dan Smith as Operations Director.
